Danae's Dialogue made its debut with an audio podcast started by host, Taylor Harris, in October 2017. Titled after Taylor's middle name; the idea was birthed from a noticed lack of quality resources that discussed current events through the lens & perspective of a young, Black Christian. So, Taylor decided to create what she did not see.

 

The 1st episode, birthed from frustration, talked about the hypocrisy of White Evangelical Christians and their unwavering support of the then President & administration and why that support was so problematic. Since that 1st episode, Danae’s Dialogue has been a place where “God, History and the News collide”. Each episode seeks to provide the insight & viewpoint of a nerdy, young, Black, Christian woman seeking to educate all who choose to listen about her God and her people.

Expanding on the podcast throughout the years, Taylor included provisions to resources for listeners in order to ensure that a conversation is not where these topics stop. Pulling on her love for teaching, Danae's Dialogue has grown to be a brand that seeks to reveal Jesus through the avenues of preaching, teaching, politics, news and entertainment.
